Project Goals
1- To provide a sustainable and safe source of clean drinking water. 2- To reduce diseases associated with the use of contaminated water. 3- To alleviate the suffering of the local community by improving access to water.
A shallow well was constructed using manual excavation methods to a depth of 30–70 feet. The project included the installation of a manual water hand pump together with the required piping network.
